The arrival of Miss Cooper started us on a wonderful journey...
Cooper was our pick of the litter, and she represents the gateway for our immense
passion of the Labrador breed, and all that has followed since...
Cooper has always been my trusty partner, serving as an inspiration and a true ambassador
of the breed. She enjoys attending work with us in her important role as the social greeter
of the office and mentor in obedience classes and lessons. Cooper has excelled in obedience and
therapy dog work, first earning her Canine Good Citizen title on her first birthday and training
for her CD title. She retrieved her first bird at 4 months of age and she has enjoyed the fun sport of agility.
We earned our Therapy Dog certification together as a team at her tender age of two years old!
Cooper also serves as a regular class model and teacher for novice students
learning the fine art of canine water therapy - she is an amazing teacher and greets
all the students with kisses! We have a 'Cooper Cup' competition - awarding the student
who best handles Cooper with their newly learned skills with a Cooper Cup!
These students come from all over the US and even Europe and work with our girl in the pool.
Cooper has brought much joy to our lives with her sweet and fun personality
and she currently lives for boat rides, swimming, performing her tricks in unison with brother Sailor
and visits to Starbucks where the baristas lavish her with attention and dog treats!
She is our loyal, happy sidekick for our daily adventures...
